Jersey Mike's Announces UK Debut as it Begins European Expansion
Jersey Mike's Subs to open first UK site in late autumn 2026, with three further central London locations to follow as it begins large-scale UK and Ireland expansion.
SEPTEMBER 2026: Jersey Mike's Subs, one of America's fastest-growing sub sandwich brands, today announced the opening of its first UK restaurant on Argyll Street in London's West End, marking the brand's first location in Europe.
Located moments from Oxford Circus, the restaurant is set to open in late autumn 2026 and will be followed by three additional locations in central London as Jersey Mike's begins its expansion across the UK and Ireland.
The UK launch marks a new chapter in the growth of Jersey Mike's, which has grown from a single sandwich shop in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, into a brand with more than 3,300 locations across the US and Canada. The brand plans to open hundreds of restaurants across the UK and Ireland as part of its international expansion.

Cancro began working at the original Mike's Subs shop in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, at the age of 14 before purchasing the business aged 17. More than seven decades after the original store opened, he is now leading Jersey Mike's first European expansion.
Known for its authentic East Coast-style subs, Jersey Mike's prepares its sub sandwiches fresh to order, with meats and cheeses sliced in-store and bread baked throughout the day.
